Extraordinary vintage binding in red tafilete, curved spine and with small cloth, planes with border formed by wheels, fillets and golden irons, silk guards with wheels and golden irons, golden cuts. Presented in a beautiful and original flask case, with vertical entry and the book is completely closed, format 16.3 x 22.2 x 2.9 cm. Beautiful specimen.
The book is like an album of images of the Life of Jesus Christ, 99 in total, based on the New Testament: Annunciation to the Virgin, Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus and subsequent Acts of the Apostles.
Unique specimen with this beautiful presentation and very interesting, with obvious signs of use (slight), some rust stain on the paper without affecting the images but, in general, in very good condition to be over 200 years old.
