Edition of The Wonders of the World, or Book of Wonders, by Micer Marco Polo (1254-1324) of the Publishers of Rare and Ancient Books, Circle of the Bibliophile, 1978. Full text in modern French, thanks to the works of M. G. Pauthier on the manuscripts of the National Library of France, translated into Spanish by Ángeles Cardona de Gibert with 84 illustrations executed for the Duke of Burgundy in 1399 and a preliminary study by A. Cardona on the work and its history. This edition faithfully reproduces in the artistic form of its time the edition illustrated by Jean de Bonnot edited in Paris.

Paper: 90-gram laid paper watermarked with the Bibliophile’s Circle mark, made “in a round shape” according to ancient methods.
Binding: genuine full lamb leather without sawing, without additions or cuts, blue color.
Stamping: covers and spines sumptuously decorated in 22-carat fine gold with the small square of Venice in the fifteenth century, from where ships sailed to the East, on the cover. Upper cut gilded in fine gold.
