Facsimile bound in leather on board with dry prints. Format 19 x 31 cm. 124 pages with 121 miniatures of great iconographic interest. Presented in a case for its conservation.

The edition is complemented, as usual, with a book of studies carried out by specialists in the field.

The Municipal Library of Toulouse preserves among its funds one of the most important manuscripts on the Apocalypse from the 13th century. All the scenes of the Apocalypse appear literally and pictorially represented in the Apocalypse of Toulouse.
The codex can be dated between the years 1220 and 1270. As can be seen, in its magnificent miniatures the costumes of the characters can be related to the time of the reign of Louis IX of France, also known as Ludovico or San Luis, whose angelic figure impressed everyone with just your presence. Most of the miniatures are in perfect condition.
The manuscript is written in two columns and is decorated with 121 brightly colored miniatures, embellished with gold and silver, the last 15 of which refer to the vision according to Saint Paul.
Particularly noteworthy is the miniature on folio 53, a full-page painting representing the Heavenly Jerusalem, with the blessing of Christ and the divine Lamb in the center, surrounded by the tetramorph, the twelve doors with the twelve angels and the apostles. represented in footer below the page.
