This edition includes numerous full-page engravings, from those published in the Juan de Mommarte edition (Brussels, 1612) to those that appeared in the Kristianía edition (1918), including those embellishing the illustrious Madrid prints by Ibarra (1771). of the Royal Spanish Academy (1780), of Sancha (1797) and those of other Spanish and foreign ones. This “Don Quixote” presents a selected anthology of how the most distinguished cartoonists of different times and nations have seen the hero from La Mancha.
Bound volume in hard cover with illustrated dust jacket (with minor minor scratches). Format 16.2 x 23.7 cm. 812 pages. Weight 1,190 grams. It still has 2 small circular stamps from the previous owner.
