Extraordinary facsimile edition made in 2007 by the publishing house Siloé of the 1805 copy of “Book of Mushrooms”, by Robert Wilson. One of the few existing mycological treatises on the world of mushrooms.
The absence of text indicates that this manuscript was not intended for printing.
Hand-bound facsimile in dry-worked leather, spine with label with gilt title, nerves. Format 12.5 x 17.5 cm. 624 pages. With almost 300 images. The drawings are sketched in pencil and retouched with Indian ink, colored pencils and watercolors.
Presented in an open box-case like a flask or dust cover, lined with leather and water paper, format 13.3 x 18.3 x 7.5 cm.
Accompanied by the corresponding book of studies with important historical-mycological studies, bound in hardcover, format 16.2 x 23.2 cm.
