Selection in branch of 106 plates of the Flora Peruviana et Chilensis, realized in 1995 by Glaxo Wellcome and Ediciones Doce Calles, Madrid.
The prints are presented in an exclusive box-case lined with leather and fabric, format 32 x 42 x 4.5 cm (the original box was made of cardboard and in poor condition, so we have made an expressly of better quality and especially for this issue).
106 color plates on special high-quality laid paper, 30 x 40 cm format, corresponding to the first volume of the Flora Peruviana et Chilensis, with botanical images of the Peruvian and Chilean flora, according to the expeditions of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Reproduction of the original plates deposited in the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid (CSIC).
It comes with a special notebook in the same laid paper as the sheets bound in heavy cotton paper, with flaps and with a gua-rro watermark. Format 30 x 40 cm. 24 pages. Study entitled “The Lost Paradise, Chronicle of the Expedition to the Viceroyalty of Peru (1777-1831)”, by Antonio González Bueno, from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Complutense University of Madrid.
