Description

Wonderful little book rebound in full leather in high bibliophilia with the edition of the historical novel by Walter Scott (1771-1832), Ivanhoe, by Ediciones G.P. in his collection of great novels that the editor called “Flea Encyclopedia.”

Texts in Spanish. Version by J. Sirvent. Cover of Coll.

Handcrafted binding in full leather with spine with embossed double diagonal ribs (dry gilding). Loin and tapas abundantly embossed. Format 8.5 x 11.2 cm. It retains original rustic covers, somewhat worn. 236 pages with quite tanned paper (it was not of such good quality). Unique and exclusive specimen with this presentation, totally new and in perfect condition.

The “Encyclopedia Pulga” was published in the 1950s by Ediciones G.P. (Grand Prix). They are 7 x 10 cm mini books that contain a charming mix between the popular and the cultured, with beautiful vintage covers signed by Joaquín Chacopino Fabre (signing as Chaco and, later, Chacopino) and Alejandro Coll.
