First edition of a small part of Don Quixote of Cervantes in Tamazight language, with its transcription and translation into Spanish. First time it is published, even if only partially, the immortal work of Cervantes in Tamazight.
Published in Melilla in 2005 by the notary Manuel Garcia Fuentes and Churruca. The edition of this work was conducted in two limited and numbered print runs, the first A6 and 700 copies (which is corresponding to this issue); and the second in miniature size with 300 copies (also available). Both bound paperback, signed and sealed by the notary, and the same number of pages and texts.
Outside special format editing and the editor called “Blue Series”, with deluxe binding and printed on blue paper, and miniature size, 100 numbered and signed copies, of which we also published one available.

Don Quixote had never been translated, in whole or in part, to the Tamazight language which is the language of the Berbers of North Africa, including the Berbers Spanish Melilla.
This book contains the most known and used the Quijote, with a small explanatory commentary and translation into or Tamazight Tarifit, which is the first partial translation of Don Quixote to the language sayings. It is a Berber language, which formerly spoken in large parts of North Africa, and currently spoken in the variant of Tamazight in Moroccan Rif region and especially in the Autonomous City of Melilla. The sayings are written in Spanish and twice in Tamazight, one in Latin characters and another in alphabet “Tifinagh” alphabet was used hundreds of years ago by the North African Berber villages, which many inscriptions are preserved in the Great Divide Atlas. It is currently being recovered as writing Tamazight in the Permanent Seminar Tamazight Language and Culture of Melilla. The translation has been done by Jahfar Yahia Hassan, professor of Tamazight in Melilla.
