Extraordinary and superb facsimile edition on natural parchment from the year 2025 of manuscript Fr. 4274 from the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, containing the Statutes of the Order of the Holy Spirit with the Just Desire or of the Knot, instituted in Naples in 1352 by Louis I of Anjou, King of Jerusalem, Naples, and Sicily, and renewed in 1579 by Henry III, King of France, under the title of the Order of the Holy Spirit. Manuscript beautifully illuminated by Cristóforo Orimina.

The edition on natural parchment (not parchment paper or pergamenata paper, but 100% natural lamb parchment, produced in the traditional manner, without chemical treatments) is extremely complex and unique, making each copy an original copy of the 14th-century manuscript. This is especially true given that the copies in this edition have undergone an accelerated aging process of approximately 100 years, a laborious and artisanal process, resulting in a spectacular work reminiscent of a medieval manuscript. The use of parchment, a natural organic element, as well as manual processes on each copy, including flat and embossed gold foil, based on the illuminations and as found in the original codex, make each copy unique. Exclusive original copies handcrafted on natural parchment, recovering the beauty and authenticity of ancient illuminated manuscripts. This copy is masterfully and hand-bound in aged leather over board, with a medieval-style ribbed spine reproducing its current state. 26 x 36 cm. 26 pages in genuine natural lambskin vellum.
