Description
This book gathers the hard experience lived by the monfortino Germán Macía Rodríguez and the courage with which he faced the disease. Friends, doctors, companions, relatives … tell us how this brave civil guard faced the harsh reality that he had to live.
Coordinated by Abel Veiga Copo, they tell how Germán fought until the last moment to make visible the sick people of ALS and get more aid for research. Even knowing that it was too late for him, Germán did not cease his efforts, because the ELA took his life, but not his courage and dignity.
And precisely to continue with Germán’s struggle, a part of the income obtained from sales of this book will go to the Luzón Foundation, united against the ELA, because we are convinced that together, we will be able to overcome it.
