First facsimile edition of The Book of the Brotherhood of Santiago de Burgos, produced in 1977 by the publishing house La Gran Enciclopedia Vasca. The oldest known equestrian armorial, manuscript and miniaturized during the 14th to 17th centuries.
Introduction and study in the same volume by Faustino Menéndez Pidal de Navascues. Foreword by Dalmiro de la Valgoma and Díaz-Varela.
Facsimile rebound by hand in gold-stamped leather, format 22.5 x 28.2 cm. 248 color illustrated pages on heavyweight paper, guide tape, gold top edge. Unique specimen with this presentation.
Later, in 2000, the Siloé publishing house produced a luxury facsimile with the title “Armorial Book of the Knights of the Brotherhood of Santiago, XIV-XVII centuries”, which we also offer on this same website.
