Description
The Mehen game, or snake game, is a multiplayer board game that is perhaps the oldest known multiplayer game and offers an interesting balance between chance and strategy.
Mehen is played with three double-sided dice. The flat face of the die is light in color and the curved face is dark in color. There are six different pieces, each one of a different color, and a special black pawn.
The game sheet is delivered, with information and instructions (texts in Spanish), a 17 x 17 cm wooden board, and the wooden dice and tokens.
Mehen is a board game that was played in Ancient Egypt. The name of the game comes from Mehen, a protective serpent god Ra, during his night time travel underworld. There is only reference to the game in paintings and historians suggest that it is a game.
